At an early age, Kathleen took frequent trips to visit her older sister who lived in Manhattan. She fell in love with the best of New York, Broadway plays, fabulous museums, brunch at The Plaza, and, of course, shopping at Bergdorf’s and Tiffany’s. After considering design school in New York, she chose to study Marketing at a local university and landed a job with a publishing firm channeling her love for all things creative and beautiful.

Kathleen’s biggest inspiration was her mother Marlene, who recognized more than anyone Kathleen's passion for fashion. With her support and encouragement she helped Kathleen open her first boutiques, Royal Silk, Silk Quarters, and Divas. After decades of styling women in Ready to Wear, Kathleen listened to her customers’ requests and decided to venture into bridal and special occasion wear. When considering what she wanted her boutique to represent and what her clientele dreamed of being, it was obvious...
